This flash butt-welding system serves to produce various head ends from corresponding half shells. Selection of the type and adjustment of the individual parameters takes place via a 10" infra-red touch panel. Due to the integrated cleaning station and the automatic discharge of the fully welded parts, no operator interventions are required. The head end half shells are manually inserted in the magazine by the operator without interrupting the production operation.
